Hi, I’m Dan.
I’m a homeowner learning how to take better care of my house.
When I bought my first house, I knew almost nothing about keeping it running. I had questions about what to check, when to do it, and which small jobs I could handle myself. I started this site to learn as I go and keep track of the maintenance around my own home.
Why I made this
Homeownership comes with a lot of little things to remember. A filter needs changing, a leak needs checking, or a seasonal job suddenly becomes urgent. I wanted one place to write down what I was learning and make the next task easier to find.
The House Playbook is that place. I share the notes, checklists, and tools I’m building for myself. If you’re figuring out your own home one project at a time, I hope they help you feel a little more prepared, too.
